The Sonic Alert Sonic Boom alarm clock has a built-in outlet for connecting a lamp and an auxiliary jack for a bed shaker (sold separately). The lamp can be used for both reading and flashing.
If you want to use this clock as a receiver to be notified of events in other rooms, you will need to purchase a signaler or transmitter that will activate this receiver.
